Zhejiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, located in the Zhijiang Cultural Center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, established in 2023, covers an area of 35,000 m2, with an exhibition area of 15,153 m2. It is China's first large-scale regional comprehensive intangible cultural heritage museum.
Adhering closely to the definition of intangible cultural heritage and centered around the theme of "life," the museum focuses on "people and processes" as key elements in its exhibitions. It is a dynamic, warm, fluid, and boundaryless museum with enduring future vitality. Its over 2 thousand objects along with live demonstration by inheritors, allow us to explore the extraordinary diversity of Zhejiang’s intangible cultural heritage. As the first smart intangible cultural heritage museum in China, it has established a digital dashboard, a database, a literature center, and a digital exhibition and experience center, which are dedicated to resource preservation, item management, and public services.
