At the National Heritage Board of Singapore, Lim XingYi oversees the Heritage Activation Nodes initiative, which empowers communities to co-create projects that celebrate the heritage of their neighbourhood. Each features tailored programmes and activities that reflect the distinct character of their precinct.
XingYi also serves on the Board’s Youth Panel, guiding a team on youth-led heritage programming. She has collaborated with diverse partners in the community, including schools, institutes of higher education, heritage businesses, individuals, and young volunteers.
She previously contributed to the Board’s intangible cultural heritage initiatives, and public engagement campaigns for Singapore’s nominations to the UNESCO Representative List of ICH.
