Head, Revision of the ICOM Code of Ethics for Museums
Dr. Sally Yerkovich is Head of the Revision of the ICOM Code of Ethics for Museums and was previously Chair of the ICOM Standing Committee on Ethics.
She is Adjunct Professor of Anthropology at Columbia University, where she teaches a course on ethical issues in museums. As a cultural anthropologist, she has extensive leadership experience in museums and cultural institutions in New York and Washington, D.C., including The New Jersey Historical Society and the Museum for African Art.
She is currently Director of Educational Exchange & Special Projects at The American-Scandinavian Foundation in New York City, and author of A Practical Guide to Museum Ethics.
