Arthur G. Affleck, III, is passionate about early childhood education and believes in the power of children’s museums and other cultural organisations to make a positive difference in the lives of children, teens, parents, and caregivers. The Association is an international nonprofit professional service organization representing and advocating for the children’s museum field.
As its leader, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations, from strategic planning and fundraising to advocacy, programme development, and community engagement.
Previously Arthur served as Vice President for Development, and then Executive Vice President at the American Alliance of Museums. He is currently also Co-Chair of the Board of the International Council of Museums United States National Committee.
