Arthur Tan is Senior Manager (Strategic Planning), National Heritage Board of Singapore (NHB), developing long-term strategies for the heritage and museum sector. Prior to this, Arthur led initiatives to safeguard and promote Singapore’s intangible cultural heritage through partnerships with practitioners, including the Stewards of Intangible Cultural Heritage scheme.

He is also the coordinator for the NHB Youth Panel, which provides a platform for youth engagement and action in the heritage and museum landscape. Singapore’s first Youth Heritage Blueprint is a notable outcome of the Panel’s work, with its focus on engaging and empowering young people to become active citizens and custodians of heritage.
