Medea S. Ekner is the Director General of ICOM – International Council of Museums and, as such, serves on the board of Blue Shield International, which protects cultural heritage under threat, and as trustee of the European Museum Forum. Her work is centered on organisational transformation and innovation, aiming to enhance the organisations ability to address global challenges that impact museums, cultural heritage and communities.
