About
Youth Power
Literary and composers’ museums, the house museums of writers and musicians are an extraordinary resource for teaching and educating the younger generations, children, teenagers and young people. At school, children study the works of great writers and poets and the compositions of great musicians, but in literary and composers’ museums they can deepen their scholastic study and understand the motivations and cultural context of these works. In the historic houses of writers and musicians, then, they can see these great figures up close, in the places where they created their immortal works. With the awareness that it is not possible to fully know these works without knowing the great writers and composers, their experiences, their relationship with the territory. For this reason, the connection with schools of all levels is essential and museums make projects and programs to make this connection with teachers and students concrete.
